This year I am being featured in Who’s Who for life-time accomplishments. I’ll be 88 in February, 2020 so I am an old-school researcher with a long history of research and publications. I have masters degrees in chemical engineering (Auburn University) and metallurgical engineering (Ohio State University) as well as addition graduate work at Georgia Tech, University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Southern California. My paid research history starts at the Naval Air Materials Center, then at Battelle Memorial Institute, and ending at the Federal EPA’s Atmospheric Sciences Research Laboratory where I retired (after more than 20 years) in 1991. At EPA my primary responsibility was directing research on the effects of atmospheric pollutants on materials and the writing of the materials chapter in criteria documents.
During those years I remained active in the Naval Air Reserve as a pilot and researcher, retiring as a Captain in 1992. Since retirement, I have done some consulting and for over the last dozen years I have been analyzing all the available atmospheric CO2 data. I’m writing the results on this WordPress site and making comments on climate related blogs.
